Barcelona, November 7, 2023 – SEIDOR, a consulting firm specializing in technology services and solutions, has signed a collaboration agreement with Microsoft to promote the implementation of the Copilot system, an integrated platform in Microsoft 365 that allows for greater optimization in the use of desktop applications, thanks to the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
As a key partner of Microsoft in Spain, the technology consulting firm will be responsible for promoting the benefits of Microsoft 365 Copilot, which combines the power of large language models (LLMs) with Microsoft 365 solutions and proprietary business data, as part of a series of free workshops offered by SEIDOR. These workshops are aimed at their client portfolio and potential consumers, with a special focus on the public sector.
These workshops, part of the official Microsoft 365 Copilot Jumpstart program, which includes a select group of very exclusive partners, among which SEIDOR is featured, are offered by the technology consulting firm to clients using Copilot. It's important to note that the platform includes internal use licenses that show how this platform is being used within SEIDOR itself, thus sponsoring the implementation of the system through its own execution.
According to Mariel Domínguez, Business Director of Microsoft - MBU at SEIDOR, "the use of this sophisticated system will allow clients to optimize their daily tasks to the maximum level, helping them be more efficient in the daily use of applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, or Outlook, thanks to the enormous potential of AI." In the same vein, Domínguez explained that "the implementation of Copilot represents a step forward in the revolution of work models, promoting that people can dedicate more time to more qualitative tasks and, with this, fostering greater competitiveness among companies."
Greater creativity, productivity, and skill development
Thanks to Microsoft 365 Copilot, work will be transformed along three main axes: creativity, productivity, and skill development. Regarding creativity, platform users will have a program to kickstart their creative process based on previous instructions. For example, in PowerPoint, the system can help create a comprehensive presentation with a simple command, reusing certain elements or using new ones, allowing for exploring a much greater number of possibilities.
Similarly, Copilot promotes greater productivity by handling administrative tasks in an infinitely shorter time. In Outlook, for instance, it can summarize long email chains, quickly draft response suggestions, or clear the inbox in a matter of minutes, among other applications.
Lastly, the platform also promotes skill improvement as it encourages the use of commands that are not normally used due to unfamiliarity. Through the simple use of natural language, a wealth of functions is unlocked, fostering the development of new professional skills.
